WebQuestion: I have question regarding 10g control file setting. I have taken over an admin duties on a 10g DB on a Windows servers. The database was installed by the previous DBA. WebJan 26, 2012 · Check what is the path of control files mentioned in init.ora. path exist w.r.t controlfile location. ensure that you have control files present in those locations. If not copy it from one of the locations where you have updated controlfile to rest other locations. Later start your database again.
